I will try and list some info about Australians that either have MS or are involved with MS in some way, I guess they will be more so well known Australians, after all there is about 15,000 of us. I also have a section for MS People Profiles although not many seem to want to take up the offer of a free Profile page.

I know there are lots of web applications eg. MSN and Yahoo stuff, but Google has it all, without all the in your face and eye candy stuff that makes pages load so slow. The Interface on most Google apps is simple and clean. Please consider Google as your friend, they have some great free features.

My Story : My Story
Posted by Darin on 2009/6/1 6:20:00 (1970 reads)

Suffering symptoms for seven years and getting nowhere with medical professionals I decided to turn a negative into a positive.
For 7 years I have had many symptoms of MS and yet no GP or Specialist is prepared to commit to a diagnosis of MS. Knowing the inevitable is just around the corner I decided to do something to help others. I opted to take part in the Foundation 5 Million to raise much needed funds in order to find a cure for MS

MS Information : Summer concessions for NSW, SA and QLD, you can help!
Posted by KarenH on 2009/5/28 19:00:00 (1600 reads)

The MS Society has been campaigning for this but they really NEED US, the people with MS, to help strengthen the campaign by writing to our local politicians and putting pressure on them with our personal MS stories and how the heat affects us. The more of us who can get involved the quicker this will happen.

Without us and our personal stories it will fall on deaf ears as it's just the society lobbying for it without support from sufferers'. Together we can make it happen though!!
